From a children's choir in Mladá Boleslav, through Swiss conservatories, to stages alongside Lucie Bílá — and back, to her own students and the children's choir she now leads herself.
She has sung on stages where silence counts as much as tone. Today she passes that intensity on — to her students and to children standing before their very first concert.
Markéta Amerighi, DiS. is a singer, voice teacher, director of the Paprsek children's choir and professor of singing at the State Conservatory in Prague. She was drawn to music by her father, the musician Milan Klipec — she grew up in the Paprsek children's choir, which she now leads herself.
She believes a teacher should be not only an instructor but also a psychologist who understands the individual needs and personality of each student. She approaches every person individually and works to develop their unique potential — because everyone has their own voice and a story worth sharing.
Grammar school in Mnichovo Hradiště, then the State Conservatory in Prague, majoring in Pop Music and Singing. At the same time, her first stage experience — as bassist and singer of the band Country Sisters.
Ten years in Switzerland as a professional singing teacher — at the conservatory in Bern and cantonal music schools in Aarau, Frutigen and Burgdorf. Vocal coach for contestants on Superstar Switzerland, choir director of the male choir Wyssachen, solo singer with the band Company Time (3 released CDs, concerts across Europe), and member of Martin Jufer's jazz trio.
Professional singing teacher at Art Studio Mladá Boleslav — teaching children and adults. Takes over the Paprsek children's choir from her father, where she also works as choreographer, and becomes co-organizer of the national children's songwriting competition Dětská nota. Solo singer with the Škoda Mladá Boleslav Wind Orchestra.
Vocalist for Lucie Bílá (Bílý sbor) — Christmas and public concerts, CD recordings and music videos. Collaborations with the Karel Vlach Orchestra, Marta Kubišová, Monika Absolonová, Marie Rottrová and many others. Performances in the musicals Marie Antoinette (2014), Tarzan (2019) and Bránický zázrak (2022). Extensive studio and dubbing work (Mary Poppins Returns, The Lion King, Vivo and more).
Teacher at the Prague conservatory on Rejdiště. Collaborations with the Zlín Philharmonic and Petr Bende, workshops in choral singing, and regular Christmas concerts with choirs — alongside her ongoing teaching in Mladá Boleslav and directing the Paprsek choir. Since 2026 she has also run her own workshop, Singing for Joy, at Ateliér 9 in Prague — for experienced singers, choir directors and music teachers.
Singing and flute in Jiří Škorpík's project Téma na román, featuring the songs of Karel Svoboda — around 35 concerts a year. A Christmas tour with Richard Krajčo and a symphony orchestra.
Markétka and I sang dozens of concerts together as vocalists for Lucie Bílá and other leading Czech singers. She's not just an incredible professional with a huge range of skills, but also a wonderful person you can always rely on, in everything.
